Today we had school but I headed home early. The winds and windchill were so drastic and the drifting had started to accumulate on the road making driving so treacherous that my boss called half-way through the day and told me to head home and work from there. Half way home I had to stop so a tractor could pull a truck out of the ditch. Luckily I didn't have any trouble after that and made it home before it was too bad.
Thank God for on-demand 4-wheel drive and a high profile vehicle. Environmentalists talk about how bad they are for nature but I'd like to see one of them live in the middle of North Dakota with a Prius on these roads....I don't think so!
