Life

Today I watched a movie that said the true treasure in life is living. Well that's what I've been doing. I finished out the summer with work at the golf course and the start of school. The start of school brought the start of one-act drama season and the end of that just happened so I'm finally able to catch up.

I've baked a couple cakes...one of Kent's niece which she adored, one for a friend's one-year old, and my first sheet cakes for a wedding anniversary.
Pictured here are two from Kent's niece. She wanted a barn cake - I found the cute cupcake patterns and just went from there.

The one act crew performed The Seussification of Romeo and Juliette. We took 2nd at regionals and qualified for state. At state one of my actors - Brian Anderson was awarded a Superior Actor Award. We learned a lot from what we saw and all of the judges and will be that much more prepared next year. Good Job Guys!

My brother had his second daughter at the beginning of the month. Maleah Rae - she's beautiful as is her big sister Makenna.

I'm headed into the holiday season with love, happiness, thankfulness and the treasure of life. Hope you are able to find the same.
