Again with the butchering!

Do you notice a trend? Yes, once again we butchered a beef today. The last of the 6 we have done over break.

I have to say I kind of skunked out on this one because we had Top Hat Auditions and while I helped with the bringing it in, trimming it up and cutting the first part of the meat - I missed out on the major cutting, grinding and packaging. I did make it back just in time to stuff burger although I let Kent handle the majority of the work on that one too. I did make a mean meatball as part of my share of the workload though.

Lona cooked Rommegrot and sausage for supper and some yummy fruit soup for dinner. We have really enjoyed some wonderful family meals through this whole process.

Art finally got my car working with Aaron's help in the frigid cold temperatures for which I am grateful beyond measure. I owe you to both a huge treat. I'm just not sure what that will be...
